Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Review

Hi Ladies!

If you are a long time reader of my blog then you'll know that I'm a big fan of the Garnier BB Cream so when I saw that Garnier had launched a new skin perfecting product I thought I'd give it a try!

The Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer is a smoothing and perfecting primer with optical effect, it takes seconds to apply and improves the look of your skin immediately!

It claims to leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and matte and visibly blur the appearance of shine, fine lines, wrinkles and pores.

I was really impressed when I tried this for the first time, you apply it after your day cream and then you can apply make up over the top so I followed it with my Garnier BB Cream and it looked great!

As soon as I applied it the open pores on my forehead, nose and chin looked instantly much less visible and it left my skin with a nice matte appearance and feeling really smooth and ready for applying my make up and I found the results lasted all day.

Unfortunately due to the rubbish quality of my camera I can't show you a before and after picture as it just doesn't show up in my photos so you'll have to take my word for it.

You can buy Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur 30ml from Boots for £12.99 which personally I think is a little bit on the expensive side, especially when you think the Garnier BB Creams are only £7.49.

Would I buy this product again? Possibly if the price came down or it was on offer but for £12.99 I'm not sure it's worth it, the results were great but to me a primer is one of those products that are nice to have but something I can easily live without. Has anyone else tried this? What did you think? Let me know!

  2. Have just reviewed this! I was a bit disappointed-initially looks great, but didn't leave a good surface for foundation :( http://minimumthebare.wordpress.com/2013/04/30/garnier-5-second-perfect-blur-primer/

  5. The price tag does sound a little hefty for l'Oréal indeed! The step to a high end primer is not too far away from it.. For some reason I've never really used primers daily. Afraid that whenever I will I'll just get addicted to it and have one more product to renew every few months.. ;)
